as most of you know i have been shunned by my family for 2 years because of a photo posted on facebook of me kissing another girl at a party.
the matter was not dealt with fairly but it is over now and i am 100% certain that jdub org is a cult.
but i miss my family so much.

What makes you think that you will have your family back if you are reinstated? They may not look at you the same way even if you did go back. I am sorry to hear about what you are going through. Before you do anything, you must weigh the pros and the cons.
i was invited to a small get-together by a long time friend.
we both served as elders for years.
he is in his late 70s.
so this is just so nauseating to me when she noddes her head in agreement and in a low voice or sound does a "mmm uh" in agrrement.

i just watched the sample meeting corresponding to the new release of "our christian life and ministry" and i have a few lingering thoughts.

when i grew up in the watchtower, the only real positive takeaway i have is being forced from a very young age to have the skill for public speaking, this has directly helped me with my confidence and gave me a skillset that is valuable in my current job.
